                                          Grandma Christmas”

I am sad because Christmas is not the same without you. I am usually opening gifts Christmas morning with you. I enjoy reading books with you. I will miss you this year. I will miss having breakfast with you. I will miss opening gifts with you. I can’t say Merry Christmas to you in person anymore. On Christmas morning you said “Good morning to my pumpkin” when you opened my door. Christmas is not the same without you. I will miss you so much this year.

Whenever you made me and my family breakfast. Whenever you went to the cabin with me and my family. I loved all of it. I am going to really miss you this year. I will miss having breakfast with you. Once upon a time, there was a girl named Elizabeth Miller. Her and her family were going up north for Christmas. Her and her family were about to leave and she started to cry. She said “Mama, I will miss Grandma Miller at the cabin. ” Her Mom said “I know sweety, me and Uncle Ron decided to leave grandma at Sunshine Place. She is being a problem resident. ”

“Me and Uncle Ron decided it would be better for our family to not deal with grandma up north, OK?” Elizabeth’s Mom said. “Christmas isn’t Christmas without grandma. ” Elizabeth said crying. Elizabeth’s Dad yelled angrily “You aren’t going up north if you cry about Grandma Miller!” “You don’t understand mommy and daddy. I don’t like Christmas without grandma. ” Elizabeth said crying.

“Know what?!” Elizabeth’s Dad said angrily. “I am calling Amber!” Amber is Elizabeth’s babysitter by the way. “I am good with that daddy. ” Elizabeth said crying. “You don’t want to go up north, huh?!” Elizabeth’s Dad yelled angrily. “Honey, if Elizabeth wants to stay back with Amber, let’s let her stay back with Amber. If Elizabeth wants her grandma for Christmas, give her her grandma for Christmas. ” Elizabeth’s Mom said.

“I am not going now either. ” Elizabeth’s Mom said. “Whatever. Have a merry Christmas a happy new year mos lottos!” Elizabeth’s Dad yelled angrily.  “Now baby. ” Elizabeth’s Mom said. “Where do you truly truly truly want to spend Christmas? Answer me without crying. Elizabeth said “With grandma mommy. ” “Your wish is my command. I miss her so much too. ”

“Last night I was crying thinking about grandma too. Before you were born, I loved going to her house on Christmas Day and hanging out. Let’s do it sweetheart. ” Elizabeth’s Mom said. “Grandma always rocked you on Christmas Eve when you were a baby. Her and grandpa had a brown rocking chair. I didn’t buy you a Christmas present anyway. Going to the cabin was going to be a Christmas present to our family. I didn’t want to go to the cabin really though. ”

“Uncle Denny is going to be at the cabin and he kind of drives me crazy. Merry Christmas honey. Pack a bag. Sunshine Place has a guest bedroom. We are going to have to sleep together in the same bed though because the guest bedroom has only 1 bed. ” Elizabeth’s Mom said. “I don’t care mommy. As long as I get to see my grandma for Christmas. ” Elizabeth said.

“Good attitude. We are going to spend Christmas with grandma. It will be fun. Fun fun. Thank you for not crying. I think I am going to tell dad to stay up north. He can live at the cabin. ” Elizabeth’s mom said. Elizabeth said “Good idea mommy. ” “He is a complete mayo head. He doesn’t even like grandma and grandma is his mom. ” Elizabeth’s mom said.
