“Lizzy!” Elizabeth’s grandma yelled excitedly. “I didn’t expect this. This is the best Christmas present ever! Weren’t you going up north for Christmas?” Elizabeth’s Mom said “Elizabeth started crying when I told her you weren’t going. ” “Awww. Pumpkin cakes, that’s so sweet of you. I was a little sad too. I am totally touched by this. You made my Christmas. ”

“Awesome. ” Elizabeth said. “We are staying for 5 days. My Dad was mad but I didn’t care. I wanted to come see you for Christmas. ” Elizabeth’s grandma said “I was half crying during the night last night thinking about you guys. “Awww grandma, that is so sweet of you. I had to go to war with my Dad but my Mom came through for me like always. ” Elizabeth said.

“I have a shelf of our old favorite Christmas stories. I love being read to. Tammy, my nice night aide, reads them to me. ” Elizabeth’s grandma said. Elizabeth’s Mom said “I am considering asking Jay for a divorce “.By the way, Jay is Elizabeth’s Dad.  “He has made a turn for that worse. He thinks I spoil Elizabeth. While she was crying about you not going up north, he yelled at her. ” Elizabeth’s grandma said “When your Dad was little, he was a brat. ”

“He spent 99% of his time in his room. ” Elizabeth’s grandma said. Elizabeth’s Mom said “After I divorce Jay, I am going to take care of Elizabeth to my best ability. Jay is a complete mayo head these days. ” Elizabeth’s Mom asked Elizabeth “Would you like that honey?” Elizabeth said “Sod yes mommy. ” “After I divorce your Dad, would you like to come visit grandma every single weekend?”

Elizabeth hugged her Mom. Elizabeth’s Mom said “I am going to take that as a yes. ” Elizabeth said “I am very compassionate about Grandma Miller. ” “So I am sweety. ” Elizabeth’s Mom said. Elizabeth’s grandma said “That’s so sweet of you guys. Someone has to love me after all. ” The whole room laughed. They lived happily ever after.
