“Good Year

(A Homestead-Miami Speedway Story)”

I had a good year this year in the Florida Motorsports Franchise. I won a lot and posted good times. I had good trucks all year. I am proud of my pit crew and my owner. I am proud of my engines. I am proud of my tires that Good Year provided me with and how well I performed. I am proud all around. It was a year that I will remember.

At the Milwaukee Mile I posted an 8 second lap during qualifying. That got me the pole. I finished 8th place. I followed that up with a victory at Kansas Speedway. I had my hopes up at Kentucky Speedway and I got involved in an 11-truck pile-up at Memphis Motorsports Park. I got punted in the rear end at Pike’s Peak International Raceway by “Cody McMugs. ”

“Cody McMugs” is a zam to deal with on the track. He likes to bump you in the door. He usually does it around lap 50. He gets lippy with you. He likes to accuse you of doing it. I fought with him at South Boston Speedway after the race. He punted me in the door and after the race, he yelled at me. He asked me “What was that you oosdot?” I yelled back “Hey oosdot, you punted me in the door!”

“Hug my oos. I was to your inside and you shoved against the wall. I am really sodded out at you right now! And I hope you know that!” I yelled angrily. “Oosdot. ” I thought to myself. “I am going to retire after this week. I am going to talk with President Steve Miller. I am not happy what so ever. ” I talked to Steve. I told him what happened and what not.

Steve said “Ya, Cody can be a real cod dod. I hear you Swi. We always have fought in the garage area. I wouldn’t be surprised if he get yelled at the banquet to get out of the Lannard by Bill.” Bill Kellen is the president of the Florida Motorsports Franchise by the way. “Cody is mean Swi. He is a zam to deal with on the race track. I want to crash him out one of these races. ”

“Maybe when we are dirt tracking in Knoxville, we can put him in the wall. Here you go you little hadd and put him in the wall. ” I said. “You should watch yourself Swi. You could get suspended. ” Bill said. “I don’t care. I am going to retire now. ” He said. “I can spend weekends with my family. ” Bill did and he and his family watched the races together every single weekend.
