Once upon a time, Carlos, David’s college roommate, overheard David talking to Rosey on the phone about the grand  opening party of Cousins’ Landing. Carlos said “You’re leaving?” David said “Well, ya. May 29th is graduation. May  30th I am out of here. ” Carlos said “Why?” He said “Aren’t you and Henry going right out to Detroit after graduation?” Carlos said “Why would we do that?” He said “What was all the hoopla out in the hallway then?” Henry walked in. He said “We were celebrating graduation early. ” David said to Carlos “You woke me up. ”

Carlos said “So? It’s graduation time. ” “No, it isn’t. Today is May 7th. ” David said to Carlos. Carlos said “Why are you leaving right now then?” He said “Don’t you remember how chaotic it was last year? I absolutely didn’t like it  at all. We had to help with it. ” Carlos said “My sister, Alicia, is coming. We are going to have quite the party out in the garage here. ” He said “The University of Wisconsin is letting you guys use the garage? My  pickup is in there. I have to move it before then?” Carlos said “Yes. I am keeping my truck in there this summer. ”

David said “You are finding an engineering job  over here?” Carlos said “No. I am taking  the summer off. I will probably look for a job starting in the fall. I am  not in that big of a hurry to get one. I want to stay here in Wisconsin. I am not looking forward to getting one at all. I want to be unemployed to tell you the truth. ” David said “What did you come to college for then?” He said “To party-harty baby. ” David said “That’s sad. I partied a little. I wanted to make sure to wrap it up in 4 years so I could start making money as soon as possible. “
