Lea and Craig, along with Craig’s mom and dad opened the first-ever Culver’s in Sauk City, Wisconsin. They began serving frozen custard and ButterBurgers.  The Culver family knew although the business is centered around the food, it is really about the people. While people can recall the first time they tasted a scoop of creamy and rich fresh frozen custard, it’s their way of welcoming guests that makes Culver’s delicious.
