Dave Thomas opened his very first Wendy’s in Ohio. The quick-service chain became known for  its iconic frosty desserts and square beef patties. It is  the 3rd-largest fast-food chain in the U. S. It introduced the first modern drive-thru window to the world. Dave wanted to change the name from something that could attract joyriders and cruisers. It brought beef to Canada when it opened the 1st restaurant in Ontario.
