“I know mom. ” Sherry said. “You have told me and Alex that Uncle Wally was naughty. ” Her mom said laughing “Benny started laughing when I told him. I think that it is so silly still to this day. Wally didn’t do his homework in 1966 so grandma refunded our airplane tickets. I said “Can I go with Bella?” Bella was our nanny basically. Anyway, me and Alex wanted to go and grandpa and grandma said no. I thought “Okay, whatever. ” I thought that it was sad because we couldn’t go. ” She said “Well, that sadness is going to be cured because I booked you and Sydney a flight leaving on December 20 and coming back on December 29. ”

Sherry’s mom yelled excitedly “I cannot wait  Sherry! I have very fond memories of Texas!” Sherry said “I know mom. ” Her mom said “Okay. In 1967, remember Alex was being a  pill down there. ” She said laughing “That was the year after we couldn’t go because of his behavior. He basically begged me and dad. ” Her mom said “Why was he begging you? I suppose it was because me and dad threw him under the bus. ” She said laughing “Yes because at 12:00 midnight Christmas Day he came knocking at my door. He said “Mom and dad aren’t attending to me. ”

Sherry said “He said that you were neglecting him. I said that you were sleeping and we needed to be at grandma’s at 12:00 noon. ” Her mom said laughing “I refuse to share that with people. Still to this day, I remember that. ” She said “Well, grandma made me make roles. I don’t know why. I was young at that time. ” Her mom said “I know hon. I was mad at her. You were deathly scared of using the oven until you were  16 which me and dad loved because I was nervous about you burning yourself. ” She said “That was totally my fear. ” Sherry’s mom said “I loved that about you. You are smart about the right things. ” Sherry said “Of course mom. I didn’t want to get burned. ” Sherry’s mom said “To me, you’re the world to me. ” Sherry said “Aw, how sweet of you. ”
