“Katie Gets Pulled Over”

Once upon a time, Katie was heading to St. Dans Church for Melanie’s wedding. She was in line to get on the bridge and she got rear ended. She got pulled over. This was the weekend of the Ford 500 by the way. The cop said “Mam, you were going 35 and the minimum is 45. ” Katie said “No, I was going 55. The speed limit is 65. ” He said “No, I was following you. ”

Katie said “I was trying to be safe. I have my sister’s wedding and I am trying not to get in any accidents. ” The cop said “You should go at least 45 on this road. ” She said to herself “He is going to send me to court. I know it. ” Sure enough, he said “I am going to send you to court along with the person that rear ended you. ” She said to herself “I have a reservation at the Holiday Inn. ”

“I am going to call my mom and tell her about this. ” Katie said to herself. The cop said “Yep, the video shows you going too slow. ” She said “Well ya but I wasn’t going to take the risk of getting in a bad accident on the freeway going to my sister’s wedding ceremony. ” Her phone rang. It was Shelia. Sh e asked “Are you coming to Melanie’s wedding?”

“I would love to come but a cop pulled me over. I was going 55 miles per hour. ” Katie said. “Probably not though. I have a reservation at the Holiday Inn but I think I will need to cancel it. ” Shelia said “No, I think Sandy will be able to take care of Margy until Monday so if you are able to come by tomorrow and you want to stay overnight tomorrow, mom will extend our reservation until Monday. ” Shelia and Katie’s mom extended their reservation until Monday.

Katie got pulled over for going too slow. She was going to Melanie’s wedding. She didn’t want to take the risk of getting in an accident before her sister’s wedding. She did anyway. Someone rear ended her. Shelia called her and asked where she was. She said she got rear ended. Everyone extended their reservations until Monday. They all had fun.
