A Dolly Tipple story 

“Dolly Wants To Stay Home And Rest“

Once upon a time, Dolly’s mom won tickets to the General Mills 500 at a work party. She called Judy to see if Dolly wanted to go. Dolly said “I am kind of tired, I haven’t been sleeping good. I might fall asleep halfway through. ” Judy said “I heard you all night last night. I can set up the air mattress and I can monkey mat you on to it. ” Margy said “You rather stay home and point your finger at Dukey-Wukey, huh?”

“Well, I had insomnia last night. ” Dolly said. Judy said “Ya, I heard you all night. ”  Dolly said “I tossed and turned all night. I feel like I could go to sleep right now. I want to be monkey matted on the air mattress now. ” Judy said “OK, I will do that then. ” Margy asked “Do you want me to watch the race in my room?” Dolly said “Yes. That would be great grandma.”

“Dolly!” Judy yelled. “That is sure mean of you! This is our second race together and you want to watch the race in your room!” Margy said “I am good with that. ” Judy said angrily “I told you to get your rest last night because the race was on tonight! I thought we could watch the race together!” She asked Margy “Are you OK with watching the race in your room?” Margy said “Yes. ”

Judy said to herself “Whatever. I guess I will put the girls to bed and I will watch the race in my room. ” The next morning she called Wendy. She said “Dolly hasn’t been sleeping well. She doesn’t want to go to the race. ” Wendy said “I just thought Dolly would’ve liked to go. Ever since she was little, we have liked to go to South Boston Motorsports League races. ”

Judy said angrily “You made your mom mad! She won tickets to the General Mills 500 and she wanted to take you with her!” Dolly said “I don’t care about my mom anymore. I only care about you, Grandma Margy and myself. ” Judy said to herself “I am not going to argue with her. I am going to go along with whatever she wants to do, go and have. ” Judy did that and Dolly was happy.

Dolly’s mom won tickets to the General Mills 500. She called Judy to see if Dolly wanted to go. Dolly wanted to stay home and rest. Judy was mad because she let her mom down. She should’ve gotten her rest before her mom called. She thought she would’ve liked to go. Dolly turned all negative. She said she didn’t like her mom. Judy decided to go along with whatever she wanted.
