Margy was glad she moved into Sunshine Place. She made good friends. She got to where she interacted with everyone. She was glad she spoke up. She went bowling every Saturday night. She joined the Moonlight Place Bowling League. She was able to stay up until midnight every Saturday night. She wasn’t able to do that at home. She was happy with her decision.

One day Margy turned all negative. She said angrily “I don’t want to work anymore! I don’t want to interact with anyone anymore! I want to just lay in bed 24/7! ” Shelia, the assistant boss of Sunshine Place, said “Wo wo wo, what’s up with you all of the sudden?” Margy said angrily “I want to play with my stuffed animals!” Shelia said nicely “You can bring like 50% of them out to the main room. ”

“We have a black basket that we can put them in. ” Margy said angrily “Naw! I rather lay in bed the rest of my life!” Shelia said to herself “OK, I will bring this up to everyone and we will see what we can do with Margy. I like to see residents interact with each other but I guess Margy wants to lay in bed the rest of her life. ” Shelia called a meeting with all the staff.

Shelia said “Margy wants to lay in bed the rest of her life. Should we let her?” Barb, one of the helpers, said “Maybe. Let’s give it a couple of weeks and see if she shapes up. If she doesn’t, let’s just let her. At night when we monkey mat her into bed, let’s see if she says it’s my bed. If she says it’s my bed, let’s let her be bed bound. ” Shelia said “No, I want to question her first. “
