Once upon a time there was a girl named Margy, pronounced Mar • gee. Margy isn’t short for Margaret. She had autism. She lived a happy life at home until she was 25. FYI, this story isn’t about me. Anyway, Margy was being not very nice to her Mom and Dad and her caregivers. She called them not-so-nice names. After a couple weeks of being not nice, her Mom and Dad talked to her.

Margy’s Mom and Dad said “If you keep on being mean, all your caregivers will quit and you will move into assisted living. Do you want to do that Missy?!” “Yes I do. I am totally tired of living at home. I don’t want to be employed anymore. I just want to sit on my bum in assisted living. ” Margy said. Margy’s Mom and Dad said “Really? What happened to the Margy we used to know?”

“She is gone! She isn’t come back EVER AGAIN!” Margy yelled angrily. Margy’s Mom said “OK, I will call Moonlight Place. ” Margy became very negative after her Mom called Moonlight Place. Thank goodness Moonlight Place had a bed opened. Margy said “I want to spend the rest of my life in bed. ” “OK, whatever. ” Margy’s Mom said. “You can in assisted living. ”

“We don’t tolerate that mentality. I come from a hard-working family so does your Mom. ” Margy’s Dad said.  “I want to just play with my stuffed animals. ” Margy said. “Whatever” Margy’s Dad said. “I thought you were smarter than that. Your Mom and Dad are hard-working people. Apparently, you aren’t though which is sad. ” Margy’s Dad said.
