“Grandpa Rocks”
When I was a little boy, my grandpa did some fun stuff with me. He took me on my first campout. He comes to my house and takes care of me every Monday. He built me a table for painting. He let me come to his house and stay overnight when I was little. I love when he asks if I want my usual. My usual is a tuna melt. He used to take me swimming.
My grandpa took me on my first campout. We drove around the campground to find a campsite. I got to pick our campsite. I wanted all the campsites with the great big motor homes. My grandpa and grandma said “No Swisters, we are going to camp in our van. ” I started crying. “Oh Swisters, I am sorry but we are going to camp in our van. ” My grandpa said. All of a sudden my grandma said “Why don’t we make our Swisters happy and borrow someone’s camper Ston?” “Good idea Merllang. ” Both of my grandparents are from Georgia and they have wicked wicked accents.
Some Mondays I don’t know how I eat I am laughing so hard at the way my grandpa talks. He always asks me “Want a toona molt biddy?” I say “Yoss grompa” to be funny. Gromma doesn’t come down. Grompa and I have fun together on Monnday. Mirby or JaEnna say “You had what?” “A toona malt. A tuna melt made with ice cream. ” JaEnna says “Gross Swisters. ” My grompa says “It is good, ice cream and toona, can’t go wrong. ”
JaEnna says “What are you feeding my Swisters you fool?!” angrily. “Swisters didn’t like it either. I don’t know why. ” Grompa said. “Stonley!” JaEnna yelled. “How dare you?! You don’t know about you, feeding my pumpkin a cold tuna sandwich. My poor pumpkin. Are you hungry Pumpky?” Pumpkin or Pumpky is JaEnna’s nickname for me. “Yes JaEnna, ”
“I want a tuna melt tan sandwich!” I said angrily. “OK my pumpkin. Don’t get all wild and wooly on me. That next Monday JaEnna got into grandpa. “You don’t know how to make a tuna melt?!” JaEnna yelled. “No I don’t. I thought since Little Swisters love toona and he loves ice cream, he would love a toona malt. “No Ston! My pumpkin likes tuna, T U N A, cheese, C H E E S E, bread, B R E A D and mayonnaise, M A Y O N N A I S E. I got my tuna melt and I was happy. That grandpa though, he better read up on how to make a tuna melt before August 20.
