Before and after my DBS, I did the gait lab at Gillette Children’s. The gait lab is where I was videotaped walking. The first time I did it, my Mom wasn’t sure I could do it because she needed 3 other people to get me into the gait trainer. A gait trainer is a type of walker by the way. We had to go across a 3-mile bridge to get to the gait lab. The drive in my wheelchair was annoying. My Mom had to push my gait trainer to the gait lab while I drove my wheelchair.

Wow, that sounds very interesting. You should post a picture so we can get a better idea. I bet it was very difficult to do; were you tired when you got home?
