Camp Courage

Every summer since 2004 I have been going to Camp Courage up in Maple Lake. Camp Courage is an all-accessible camp. I go to the adult session which is ages 18 and up. I had counselors from all over the world this year. I had one counselor from Dublin, England named Elodie. I had the whole cabin cracking up this year. I started picking on the counselors by saying “Can you change my bed sign to Bubba?”
The counselors always said “What are we going to do with you Bubba?” shaking their head. I had a blast this year. I swam a lot this year, almost everyday. I did every one of my swimming strokes, side stroke, back stroke and stomach stroke. The counselors put me over their shoulder sideways for the side stroke. I call it the guitar hold. I loved swimming this year!  Camp has a running track in the gym. I love driving laps around the track. For the first time ever camp had pop as a drink choice. They had non-alcoholic beer but I didn’t like it. I was a dancing machine at the dance.

Oh my gosh I love this! Blake you crack me up! What kind of music do you like to dance too when you're the “dancing machine”? Who is your favorite music group? I wonder if we can find a track for you to drive laps around here in Northfield? Would that be fun for you? I would love to see you share your talents with others!
