Stella said “I am cancelling Tessa tomorrow night. ” “Why?” I said crying. She said “Are you going to cry with her?” I said “No. I absolutely don’t like you. ” She said “I might bail on Key and Sike this weekend. I need to do so much before mom’s birthday party this weekend. ” I said “I would love that. ” My mom came home. Stella said “I am bailing on you. ” My mom said  “You cannot this week. This is the weekend where me and Sike go to Wisconsin to the races. ”

I said crying “Why can’t she?” My mom said “You can’t have Mirby D. or Rhonda this weekend. ” I said crying “Why?” She said ”Mirby D. has a family thing down in Iowa this weekend. Rhonda doesn’t know how to put you to bed. ” “How about Tessa?” I said crying.  She said “Tessa doesn’t know how to. ” I said crying “Yes she does. I have her 3:30-9:00 on Wednesdays. ”  She said “I know but  she hasn’t done a  full 24 hours with you. ”

I said crying “Yes she has. ” My mom said sarcastically “Do I have dementia?” I said crying “Yes  you do. ” She said to herself “I am going to talk to Sike about getting a park model because this is getting —redicules. You love Tessa. She wants to do your respite when me and dad go to Wisconsin because you love her. ” I screamed excitedly and said “I would love that!” The next morning Stella came to work with me.
