Kevin left home. He walked to the Rise and Shine House. A bald man named Larry talked to him. He said “To live here, you have to be put on a wait list. There is a short list down Sun Landing. ” Tammy came. She said to Kevin “Mommy needs to put you on the list.  ” Kevin started crying then. She  said to Larry “Like can he sleep on the couch until a bed opens up? See? He wants to go to Arizona to see my parents with his P. C. A., Rachel, and we wouldn’t let him. ”

Tammy said “He doesn’t like us. ” Larry said “I guess that he  can. ”  Frank, a caregiver, said “Yes, he  can. Larry said “Well okay. Let’s get you set up in the living room. ” Tammy said “Whatever. ” “Mommy, thank you. ” Kevin said. Whitney, a caregiver, said “Welcome. ” Tammy said “Whatever. ” Kevin said “Thank you. ” Whitney said “Jake, one of our  clients, is moving to Camp Feel Good tomorrow. ”

Whitney said “You will need to sleep in the living room tonight. ” Kevin said “I am good with that. ” Tammy said “Whatever. ” He said “Whatever?” Tammy said “Well, you’re good with that?” He said “I am mom. ” She said “Okay. ” He said “I am excited about my new adventure in life. ” She said “Whatever, I am going to leave you. I am going to book your and Rachel’s airplane tickets tomorrow. ”
