Chapter two

Dawn said “Margy needs that. She has  Autism. ” Rich said “No, she doesn’t. She  needs to be in special mainstream classes. ” She said “Northfield High School doesn’t offer that. ” He said “Doesn’t Northfield offer special reading and math?” She said “That’s what special education is. ” He said “Oh, I thought that special education was simplified school which she doesn’t need like early childhood. ” She said “Ya, kind of.  ”

Dawn said “She needs that because she has special needs. ” Rich said “No, she doesn’t to me. ” She said “Why doesn’t she to you?” “She needs to be in  all mainstream classes baby. ” He said. She said “No. It is too loud in her classes. ” “A long long time actually, she complained about it. ” He said to her. She said “Ya. She was  complaining about it the other day.. ” He said “Ya, it is time to move on this issue Dawn. ”

Dawn said “Yes. It  is. I really think it’s time for that. ” Rich said “I agree, Betty is hosting Christmas and we are in charge of making Nadine a pizza. ” She said “Ya, what is with that?” He said “I don’t know why. A while back  you signed  a paper saying that she could be  home schooled. ” She said “I called my friend,  Wendy, during dinner to see  if  she could do it and she said ”No. I can’t. ” It will suck for Margy but oh well. ”
