The next day was the big hand-off from Betty to Cindy. Betty started crying. Betty said “Mommy will miss you. I wished that you would’ve waited until Christmas time. ” Cindy said “You should have Elizabeth. ” Elizabeth started crying. Betty said “Give her whatever she wants. She doesn’t want me anymore. ” Cindy said “Right. ” Betty said “I am sad because I wanted to totally trick her room as part of her Christmas present. ”

“I said I could’ve sewn anything that her little heart desired but I won’t now because she basically kicked me out. ” Betty said. “Elizabeth, you’re in big trouble. ” Cindy said. Elizabeth said crying “Why mommy?” Betty said “What a sod. I am busy enough with working at the Rise And Shine Farm Store so this is good actually. ” She said “Would she like working at the Rise And Shine Farm Store or the Rise And Shine Farm Stand?”

Elizabeth started crying. Betty said “Eeka-deeka-deeka. So much crying. ” to herself. Betty said “Elizabeth, there is a possibility that you won’t have eyes left by the time that you are 35. ” Cindy said. “So do you think that we should set up an eye doctor?” Betty said “Aw, she can have painful eyes. She cried at school about Scott not being her roommate. ” Elizabeth just had to suck it and be miserable. She had no choice.
