The SBML season is going year round. There are going to be breaks like for Thanksgiving and Christmas. After Thanksgiving racing will resume. Teams will have to start using tires called weather tires. They will need to add a windshield wiper to the car. Drivers can wear warm stuff over their uniform if they want. Teams will have to add a heater inside the car.

When it’s 0 or below, the race will be postponed for the safety of fans in the stands and will be rescheduled for a warmer day. SBML Network will air the race regardless what channel it was originally going to be on. SBML Wrap-up will still be on but instead host, Mike Steam, will preview it from the studio in South Boston. Pre-season bonanza will be SBML News which premieres tonight.

When the SBML races at a “rain favorable” tracks like Auto Club Speedway, teams have to use weather tires. Teams can put a tarp down in their pit stalls if they want to. They don’t have to though. They need to put a cover on jacks to prevent the cars from slipping off them. Crew members and drivers can wear rain gear if they want to.
