Post-segment report and race status: “Go away race #1 segment #2

“Edward Farmer” led almost the whole segment. There were 45 cautions for 100 laps. “Chad Cloud” hit the wall at 45:21. Everyone pitted at 48:30. “Edward Farmer” had a slow pit stop. The lug nuts weren’t tight on his left-front tire when he was leaving his pit. He had to go around the track and come back in and his crew had to put another tire on.

“Henry Riddy” took the lead at 49:49. He led most of the night. He had a 13-second pit stop. In the result of that, he got the lead. He is still leading by six tenths of a second over “Chad Cloud. ” There has been 26 leaders and 27 lead changes among 21 different drivers. “Henry Riddy” is our segment one winner.

Segment #2 started out with “Henry Riddy” leading. During the night last night his jack got stuck under his car. That costed him extra time in the pits. That surrendered the lead to “Chad Cloud. ” “Chad Cloud” is still leading by six tenths over “Fred Tessy. ” “Linda Knox” is third. “Henry Riddy” really wants to win the whole thing for “Michelle Robins. ”

Last night at 56:45 “Edward Farmer” hit the wall. He is mad because he was dominant in the first part of the event. He is having a bad temper about it still. His crew is not going to get back out there because of that, let alone the season. It is poor sportmanship. Everyone is disappointed on his crew plus his owner. “Henry Riddy” grabbed the lead after that.

“Henry Riddy” pulled away by eleven tenths of a second over “Brian Lapps. ” That set “Henry Riddy” up to win. “Edward Farmer” came out of the garage at 70:50 63 laps down in 42nd place. He had some harsh words on the radio. He remained there for the rest of the race. “Henry Riddy” kept pulling away and eventually won the “Go Away” 250 race #1.
