“”I Am Glad You Showed Your Mom Who’s Boss””
Colleen said “I am glad you showed your mom who’s boss Braiden. ” Braiden said “I am glad I did too Grandma Colleen. The house was my dad’s idea. He doesn’t even believe in assisted living. Mom had to fight with him to get me on the list. After I was out of elementary school I was going to move somewhere where I could have music and art. ” Braiden said “My mom said I couldn’t do that fun stuff anymore once I was in middle school. “
Katie said “You have that right Braiden. I sometimes get up on Sunday morning at 6 and go run laps in the gym. ” Braiden said “Don’t you love that we have a place we can run laps and like play basketball whenever we want?” She said “Ya. I go after I have supper and shoot hoops whenever I don’t feel like going to music and art. ” Braiden said “Ya. I love that you don’t have to go to activities if you want. “
Katie said “Ya. Tomorrow night is the Monday Blues 500 at Atlanta Motor Speedway. I am going to not going to go music because I am going to watch the race. ” Braiden asked “Isn’t that nice?” She said “Yes that is. I always think “Darn-it” when I am late for class in school. Peggy says “That is all right my love buggy. “” Braiden laughed. She said “She calls me that all the time. It cracks me right on up Katie. ”
Colleen said “Peggy said you can go to our cabin with us whenever we go. ” Katie said “It has a nice rustic look to it. ” Braiden said “I can’t wait to go. My Grandma and Grandpa Tulstra had a cabin when they lived in their house. We had to sell it when they went into assisted living because nobody had time to use it anymore. I was so sad. I had a rubber boat that I played with in the lake. ” Colleen said “E-mail your mom to ask her to bring it. “
