Miss Carry said “I will schedule the autism testing. ” Jenny yelled “I don’t want any testing and you can’t make me!” and she crossed her arms. Her mom yelled “Go to your room!!” Jenny went to her room crying. A few minutes later her mom came into her room. She said “Hey, what’s up Jenny?” Jenny said “I want to be home bounddddddd. ” Her mom said to herself “I need to pursue that for her. ”

Miss Carry asked Jenny’s mom “Should we do the autism testing or should we let the doctor figure out what’s wrong with her?” Her mom said “I want to see her doctor before we go any further. “OK” Miss Carry said. Jenny and her mom went to see her doctor. Sure enough, she had autism. Her mom told Miss Carry. Miss Carry said “I can be her home school teacher. ”

Miss Carry said “I worked as the social worker at Springdale School until last year. Burt, the principal, let me go in August for being gone too much. My son fell down and broke his leg and I chose to take a leave to take care of him all last spring. I arrived at school last fall for our mandatory training and he said “Turn in your badge. You are let go. You used all of your sick time for the year. ”

“I thought “Whatever. I will find a home bound or home school job. That is more of my forte anyway. I like to teach people in a nice quiet environment. They learn better in that kind of situation. That is how I feel anyway. ” Jenny said “I want to just hang out all day everyday. ” Miss Carry said “If she wants to be home bound, she can. ” Jenny’s mom started crying.

Jenny’s mom said “I guess I will buy you an apartment downtown with a caregiver. Goodbye baby. ”  Jenny said “Awesome mom. ” Her mom said “Me and Bill Farmer Jones have Katie that we love. You just have fun with a caregiver. ” Jenny said “I just want to have fun for the rest of my life. ” Bill Farmer Jones said “Have fun honey. I will miss you. ”
