Once upon a time, there were 2 dogs named Dukey and Scotty. Before I go on, let me review. They were Nick’s then Katie’s. Nick wanted them just to play with. His mom and dad said “To have dogs Nick, you have to take care of them. ” He then said angrily “No! I want them just to play with!” His mom and dad asked themselves “Should we let him keep them?”

Nick’s dad flat-out said “No. Dogs are a huge responsibility. ” His mom said “You are right sweetie, they are. ” His dad said “Katie wants some dogs. Let’s give them to her. I am allergic to dogs. They make my nose itch. ” His mom said “Your dad is right. That was the very first thing your dad told me after we got married. We told ourselves we aren’t having ANY  dogs EVER.  ” Dukey and Scotty took off. Nick was sad but that was too bad.
