A Dolly Tipple story – The Feeling Series
“Just Isn’t Right
Packer Party”
Once upon a time, Auntie Boo-Boo and Uncle Fred were having a Green Bay Packer party. Dolly didn’t want to go. Judy asked angrily “Why don’t you want to attend any of your family’s events anymore?!” Dolly said “My family is octman. ” “What does octman mean?!” Judy asked angrily. Dolly said “Octman means bad. ” Judy said to herself “I am going to make a court date to change my last name to Miller. ”
“These events sound like too much fun to me to miss out on. ” Margy asked “What has gotten into you?” Judy listened in. Dolly said “Travel is getting kind of wearing on me. ” Judy asked angrily “Travel is getting kind of wearing on you?! Do you want a family even except grandma and me?!” Dolly said “No. ” Judy said to herself “I am not going to argue with her. ”
“I am going to become Dolly’s mom if Dolly wants me to. ” Judy asked Dolly “Do you want me to become your mom?” Dolly said “I would love that. ” Margy said “We have been buds since day one, haven’t we?” Dolly said “Yes, we have grandma. ” Margy said “When you were little, you loved to come to my house and take all of my cookies out of my cookie jar. ”
Judy said “It sounds like your grandma and you go way back. ” Dolly said “Grandma is everything to me, right?” Margy said “That’s right Dolly. I am so glad I am here with you guys not at Sunshine Place. ” Judy said “Awwww, that is very sweet of you Margy. I am glad too. ” Judy eased up on Dolly and Dolly was happy. Judy thought “What am I doing yelling at her?”
Dolly didn’t want to go to Uncle Fred’s for the football game. That made Judy mad. She asked Dolly why she didn’t want to attend any of her family’s events ever. Dolly said family stinks. That made Judy a little sad. She thought she wouldn’t argue with her. She thought she would do whatever she wanted and liked. Judy enjoyed listening to Dolly and Margy stories.
