A Dolly Miller story 

“Dolly’s Surprise”

Once upon a time, Dolly’s mom and dad wanted to take Dolly to a South Boston Motorsports League race for her 25th birthday. Dolly wanted to go to the Hen 400 in Daytona. Her mom and dad thought they would wait until 2020 to take her to a big race like the Hen 400 or the Old-fashioned 500. Her mom and dad tried to talk to her. They said “In 2020, we will take you to a big race if you want. ”

Dolly said “Daytona would be a very 25th birthday. It is the weekend of the 4th of July. It would be a fun birthday. I love when they shoot off fireworks after the race. ” Dolly’s dad said “I love that. When grandma and grandpa took me to that race in 1966, the drivers drag raced. Me and grandpa laughed our oods off. You would love when they make skid marks on the track. ”

“You would get a kick out of that. ” Dolly’s dad said. “I took mom to that race for that our 1st anniversary. ” Dolly’s mom said “That’s right, I loved that. We will take you to the Hen 400. That will be fun. We will sell the Target 400 tickets and get tickets to Hen 400. No problem at all. We can hang out on the beach the day before the race. You can swim in the ocean. ”

“Thank you mom and dad. I have always wanted to go to the Hen 400. It will get late but I don’t care. ” Dolly said. Dolly’s mom and dad started talking about their trip. Dolly’s mom asked “Should we let Dolly make the itinerary again since she picked the race?” Dolly’s dad said “Yes we should like the Jammin’ Dew 600. ” Dolly’s dad said “You get to make the itinerary Dolly. ”

Dolly said “OK guys, I want to go to the Hen 400 of course. I want to go to qualifying on Friday. I want to go to the beach on Thursday. I want to just chill Thursday night. ” Dolly’s mom and dad said “That is smart. The next 2 nights will be late. Go on. ” Dolly said “I want to have barbecued chicken the night before the race. ” Dolly’s mom and dad took her to the Hen 400 and they had a good time. They set up a meet and greet with the Chevy drivers. That was her surprise.

Dolly’s mom and dad took Dolly to the Hen 400. They wanted to wait another year to take her to a big race. Dolly wanted to go to the Hen 400 though. She thought going to a big race would be a good birthday. Her mom and dad said they will have 2 late nights. They allowed her to make the itinerary again. They had a meet and greet with the Chevy drivers.
