A Dolly Miller story

                                                         “Dolly Breaks Her Foot”

FYI, I am not going to continue to write once upon a time, there was a girl named Dolly.

Once upon a time, Dolly was messing around on the playground and fell down. She broke her right foot. The playground supervisor that day, Ms. Rose, was angry with her. She said angrily  “This is the 2nd time this has happened! Quit messing around on the playground! Go to the nurse! I am not happy with you Missy! You broke your knee about 2 months ago and now you hurt your foot!”

“Your playground days are over! You get inside recess from now on!” Ms. Rose said angrily. “If you don’t like it, tough!” Dolly said to Mrs. Massy.  “I agree, the playground absolutely doesn’t like me. I am going to stay inside. I can play with my pink kitty during recess. ” Ms. Rose said “Good. We are in an agreeance. ” “2 incidents are enough for me. ” Dolly said.

That night Dolly said to her mom “I am done going outside for recess. I have bad luck on the playground. I fell down and hurt my foot. ” This time her mom didn’t mess around. She brought her to see Dr. McJiggerson. He joked with her. He asked her “Why did you fall down?” Dolly sarcastically said “I am a klutz. ” “I see how it is klutzy. ” Dr. McJiggerson said laughing.

“We will get her surgery scheduled and we will go from there. We will knock her out so only clear liquids 24 hours before hand. Nothing after 5:00am on surgery day. We will schedule it like at 7:00am. She can sleep after surgery if she wants or needs to. ” Her mom said “You can eat breakfast after you get settled in your room. ” Dolly said “That is good. ”

“If I wait too long after 9:00, I get over hungry. ” Dolly said. Dr. McJiggerson said “That isn’t good. Okay, I will tell Connie, your nurse, that you want breakfast as soon as you get in your room. ” Dolly said “Thank you. ” Dolly had her surgery. It went well. She had physical therapy while she was in the hospital. She did just fine on her own. She was happy with how everything went.

Dolly had a nice relaxing stay in the hospital. She was glad that she decided not to have anyone stay with her. She was shook up from her fall. She wanted some peace and quiet. Her surgery went well. The nurses took good care of her. She slept almost all day after she had her surgery. Dr. McJiggerson teased her fall. She was happy about everything.
