A Dolly Miller story

                                                                       “Dolly Takes A Fall”
Once upon a time, there was a girl named Dolly Miller. One day at school, she fell on the playground and broke her knee. She cried because it hurt. Mrs. Danning, the playground supervisor, came over and said “What’s wrong Dolly?” Dolly said “I hurt my knee. ” Mrs. Danning said “Go to the nurse. I will radio her to let her know that you are coming. ” Dolly is in kindergarten here by the way.

Dolly asked the nurse to get her pink kitty for her. Her pink kitty comforts her. Anyway, the nurse got Dolly her pink kitty. The nurse called her mom. The nurse said “Dolly fell on the playground and hurt her knee. I think she cried about it. ” Dolly nodded. The nurse said “Yes, it did. ” Dolly said. Dolly’s mom said “Give her some ice to put on it and I will be right there to pick her up. ”

Dolly’s mom and Dolly got home. By the way, this was when her and her parents were first considering home school for her. Anyway, her mom called Doctor Sandberg, her doctor, and talked to him. She said “Dolly fell on the playground today and hurt her knee. ” Doctor Sandberg said “Come in. I want it x-rayed to see if it is broken or fractured. ” Dolly’s mom said “OK, we will come in. “
