An Elizabeth Miller story
“Elizabeth’s Garden Adventure”

Once upon a time, there was a girl named Elizabeth Miller. When Elizabeth was a baby, she would go outside while her mom was gardening. She would crawl around in the dirt. Well, one day her mom was gardening. She looked up and Elizabeth was gone. She yelled “Elizabeth! Elizabeth! Elizabeth! Elizabeth! Elizabeth! Elizabeth! Elizabeth! Elizabeth! Elizabeth!”
Elizabeth didn’t come though. Elizabeth went to dig in the dirt in the neighbors’ yard. When she was a baby, she loved digging in the dirt. She found a few worms. She loved to set the worm on her arm. She would let the worm crawl up her arm. She would laugh because it would tickle. After a while Elizabeth’s mom gave up calling for Elizabeth. Elizabeth’s dad was mad but she didn’t care.
See? Elizabeth’s dad was mean from the beginning of Elizabeth’s mom and dad’s marriage. When Elizabeth was a baby, Elizabeth’s mom did 99% of the work. Elizabeth’s dad just sat on the couch and did NOTHING almost all day everyday. He watched “Gilligan’s Island. ” He retired when he was 37. He would rather have liked to sit around all day long.
Elizabeth would pick the grass out of the ground and tickle her face with it. She could pick the grass for hours. She liked dandelions. She liked to blow the pedals off. She could blow the pedals off for hours also. Her mom teased her. Her mom asked her “You didn’t bring me any flowers?” Her mom didn’t expect Elizabeth back for her. Elizabeth loved picking flowers.
Elizabeth loved playing in the garden when she was little. Her mom didn’t care if her garden got messed up. She just wanted to do the best for Elizabeth when Elizabeth was little. Elizabeth’s dad didn’t like it but that was too bad. Elizabeth loved picking the grass out of the ground and tickling her face with it. She loved putting worms on her arm and let the worms crawl up it.
