“Grandma And Grandpa Miller Leave For The Winter”

*By the way, Elizabeth’s dad is out of the picture now.

Once upon a time, there was a girl named Elizabeth Miller. Elizabeth’s grandma and grandpa were leaving for Texas for the winter. Elizabeth asked her mom “Can I go to grandma and grandpa’s house to say goodbye?” Elizabeth’s mom said “Of course honey. That would be nice for all of you. Your mayo head dad doesn’t care at all about grandma and grandpa anymore. ”

“Yep, you have that right mom. He could care less about grandma and grandpa. ”  Elizabeth said. Elizabeth went over to Grandma and Grandpa Miller’s. Grandma and Grandpa Miller said “Lizzy!” excitedly. “This was a complete surprise!” “I wanted to say goodbye to you. ” Elizabeth said. “Me and mom will be down to visit you guys in March. ”

“Awesome. ” Elizabeth’s grandpa said. “I will look forward to that very much. Your daddy doesn’t like us anymore. That mayo head. ” Elizabeth’s mom said. “Really? He doesn’t like us either. ” Elizabeth’s grandpa said. “I tried talking to him on the phone last night and he just hung up. Me and Margy aren’t happy. We miss him. It is too bad but it’s what it is. You have to live with it. ”

“Yep. ” Elizabeth said. Elizabeth’s grandma said “I don’t even care about your dad anymore. ” “Nope grandma and grandpa, it’s not worth caring about him anymore. ” Elizabeth said. “Dad doesn’t have to be part of our lives. ” “Nope, he doesn’t. ” Elizabeth’s grandma said. “I wasn’t happy with him from the day he started talking. He only yelled at people. ”

Elizabeth and her grandparents had a good visit. She learned a lot about her dad. She found out that her dad had been a mayo head all his life. Elizabeth was glad her mom asked him for a divorce after she heard what her grandma and grandpa told her. Elizabeth was living a happier life. Elizabeth’s dad went to live with his parents in Iowa.
